About this wonderful Garlic

Grown in Victoria. Our garlic selections come to us from a family that follows very strict principals of growing. It is genuinely grown without the use of any pesticides, chemicals, artificial fertilizers and is hand planted, hand weeded and hand harvested.

The farm is in the pre-certification period of certification. To gain ‘Certified Organic’ status every property must go through a three year process. The first year is called the pre-certification year, followed by in-conversion for two years. Throughout the entire certification process, including pre-certification and in-conversion, inputs and production methods must conform to the Australian Organic Standards , and as such no chemicals (including herbicides, pesticides, etc) or artificial fertilizers are to be used.

Red Rocambole Garlic

A late hard neck variety with generally medium sized bulbs and a strong flavour. It has a red/crimson skin colour on the cloves with a white skin, approximately 10 clovers per bulb and is a very pretty. It has excellent storage.

The bulbs will be a mix of some with covers on the bulbs some without. The garlic is all excellent dry quality and ready to use on delivery.

Due to shipping costs you are more effective ordering 1KG in a shipment. The Bulbs come to weigh around 100gms each.
